LEADERSHIP

Bill Boeckman is the President and Founder of Providing Purpose International. He is the author of the book, “Providing Purpose - How to Build a Life that Matters”. Bill has spent over twenty years working in international business in the Middle East, South America, Africa, Asia, India, and Europe. He managed companies that were part of the rebuilding efforts in Bosnia, Kosovo, & Iraq.  He was a Managing Director of several European companies that oversaw multiple international agreements.  He has extensive international finance and human resources experience gained in Senior Management positions over his career. He has worked in and traveled to 60 countries and counting. Bill also has several years of college teaching experience teaching business classes. Prior to his international career Bill participated in short-term mission trips while in college. Bill earned an undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University in 1989, followed by a Master of Business Administration graduate degree in 1991 and a Master of Arts in Education with a TESOL emphasis in 1994 both from ORU.

Bill is interested in guiding teenagers and young adults to develop a vision to reach the world for Christ and live a purpose-filled effective life.

Dr. David Hasz is the President & CEO of Bethany International. David came to Bethany in 2013 after serving for many years in other youth ministry and educational settings. He has led twenty plus mission trips across the globe while training and equipping individuals to passionately pursue Jesus and share the gospel. David earned an undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University in 1991, followed by a Masters in Intercultural Leadership in 2016. His doctorate is in Strategic Leadership with an emphasis in organizational leadership and global missional leadership, earned from Faith International University in 2021.

David is married to Sandy Hasz. Together they have six children and six grandchildren. He is interested in growing a resilient mindset through taking on hard challenges which include an Ironman, the Boston Marathon, and daily physical demands. His passion is to see the world reached for Jesus and God being glorified.

Jeremy Isom is the Director of LEAP (Leadership-Educational-Adventure-Philanthropy) International, which is based out of Louisville, Kentucky. Jeremy has led over 35 global expeditions in 45 countries on 5 continents. He has spent over 20 years working with youth in international contexts. He has designed and implemented adventure learning and service-learning projects for non-governmental organizations and schools.

Jeremy has a Masters in Adventure Education and is a published author. His book is entitled “Is Technology Sabotaging Adolescents Journey to Creating Healthy Community?”.

Jeremy is interested in seeing young people discover and walk confidently in the calling God has for their life, by equipping them with a practical focus on building an educational foundation for their lives. He believes in providing educational adventures and programs that lead to deep, diverse, and generous relationships that build a healthy community of friendships.

Mission Statement

PROVIDING PURPOSE INTERNATIONAL’S mission is to train leaders to live a life of purpose by tying short term decisions, steps, and habits with a long-term vision and plan to make a difference in the world.  Providing Purpose International achieves this by partnering with organizations, schools and orphanages, primarily in Central and South America, to build and run Aquaponic farms, chicken farms, and other humanitarian projects where we grow food to meet the physical needs of the children and widows.  Providing Purpose International also forms Purpose Groups which consist of teams of difference makers to work on issues such as feeding orphans, working with the poor and a host of other issues.  Providing Purpose International recruits and trains people like you to join our team of leaders and go on trips and internships at the schools and orphanages to help care for the young children.  While on those trips the emphasis of the teaching is to combine helping others with a curriculum that will teach the program participants to develop a plan for their life!

Providing Purpose International specializes in building vision in the lives of youth, young adults and families. Our short term trips incorporate ministry presentations, community development, construction projects, educational initiatives, medical clinics and disaster response teams as ways to tangibly meet the needs of others in the local countries. Our goal is to develop vision and purpose in the lives of the teenagers, young adults and families that participate in our programs as they meet the needs of others.

The Providing Purpose Project helps you as an individual or you as a family design a plan to implement vision in every area of your lives. Armed with this strategic plan you and your family will be able to make a difference with your lives and find meaning and purpose. We offer a wide variety of products and services that will allow you and your family to develop your family vision, your children’s skills and abilities, your family’s finances, your family goals.

We strive to train personal responsibility for each individual in our programs.  We endeavor to mentor and guide each person to take responsibility for their choices, decisions, development and their journey.

DEVELOP YOUR PERSONAL VISION

Our short-term programs strive to develop God’s vision for reaching the lost in each future leader. We will also provide opportunities to serve in a capacity that will benefit people in need.  Our intermediate and long-term programs seek to develop a long-term vision in each future leader’s life.  We believe that developing a God inspired vision is the key to finding purpose.  We then focus on letting that vision inspire every element of the future leader’s life according to a lifetime plan.

TRANSFORM YOURSELF INTO A CHAMPION

We strive to train each individual with the habits necessary to develop a healthy God based self-image.    We train individuals how to renew their mind with God’s word by speaking His promises over their lives daily.  We integrate this mind renewing habit into all of our programs.

YOUR CAREER AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT

We seek to give Career & Skill Development counseling in our intermediate and long-term programs.  We believe that while some individuals are called to full time ministry, most are called into a vocational or professional field.  However, we are all called to be either in the field or supporting God’s vision for reaching the lost. We challenge each individual to develop a plan for their life that involves building a solid career based on their talents and abilities.

DEVELOP YOUR FINANCIAL FOUNDATION

On our intermediate and long-term programs we do some financial training in accordance with the Career and Skills planning component.  We seek to train individuals how to build a solid financial base which will become a platform later in life to implement an effective vision for a lifetime.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

We seek to train effective leaders by focusing on continuous personal development.  Our intermediate and long-term programs utilize field experience and classroom based leadership training.  The goal is for each individual to learn the process of leadership development and be able to apply it in their life. 

INFINITY GOALS TRAINING

In our long-term programs, we also train the future leader how to make and follow a life plan based on Infinity goals.  Before you can create the ultimate blueprint that you can follow and use to make meaningful decisions, you must first understand your life in context of infinity and the legacy you will leave after you depart this earth. An infinity goal is a goal that is about how your life has affected the lives of other people and their descendants after your life is over. It answers the question: “Did my life make a difference?”

PURPOSE HABITS

Our programs strive to include habit development.  Good habits are what each of us use to achieve long-term success.  Our short-term adventures include renewing the mind habits.  Our long-term adventures provide a host of habit development process training designed to build up and equip each individual.  We focus on the process of consistently implementing successful habits over a lifetime.

MENTORING WITH PURPOSE ACTION GROUPS

Once our programs conclude we seek to maintain relationships with each future leader through Purpose Action Groups.  These groups continue to focus on habit disciplines and vision development.  We use our media websites and our phone application products to continue the experience.
